I have both an Xbox 360 and a PS3. It seems to me that when gaming sites have done comparisons of the same game on the two different consoles, the two are either identical, or the PS3 suffers from longer loading times and glitchier graphics. I can't say whether that's a problem with the PS3 itself, or game developers giving the PS3 ports short shrift. But it does mean that whenever a game comes out for both consoles I tend toward the Xbox version. Therefore, I've been using my PS3 as a Blu-Ray player 99.9% of the time and as a game console 0.1%.

Sony had better start exerting some quality-control leverage on game designers if they want to pick up gamers who are on the fence.

"Guys who love the game grew up on the Playstation"?

Now we know why the PS2 outsells the PS3. Sony hires geniuses like Peter who obviously has trouble knowing getting to know his customers and excercising simple Math. GTA has always been rated M. Assuming I was at least 17 years old when Grand Theft Auto 3 came out ( I was 21),I most certainly did not grow up on a console that did not exist until the mid 90s.

Thanks for speaking on our behalf though.

Microsoft has in the past passed up the opportunity to join in the sales of GTA and has always declined, this is something that gamers look into.
As for Sony, it is true that GTA IV will undoubtedly be a blockbuster game, but it is not by any stretch of the imagination the most awaited game, instead all record sales will be broken by the last installment of Metal Gear Solid. Sony has both MGS 4 and Final Fantasy 13 coming out this year which will boost the sales of PS 3 way more than exclusive content for GTA on the Xbox will ever be able to.

You are wrong about there only being one GTA game being released on the XBOX. Rockstar released a triple pack with the whole GTA trilogy on the original Xbox.

Your article is incorrect and once again proves that big media cannot get GTA's story straight. The original Xbox saw the last three major iterations of the GTA series with "Grand Theft Auto III", "Grand Theft Auto Vice City", and "Grand Theft Auto San Andreas". That's a major oversight.

Please employ someone to write intelligently about a firmly mainstream media. I am available for the position, can count beyond one, and have even played a video game before.

<strong>-- From Yi-Wyn Yen: Thanks Matthew. I fixed. I counted the Trilogy as one installment since it came as a bundle.
