I use both SPOTTT and Entrecard (125 business card that you drop on other sites to introduce yourself) and find that the reason why the original link exchange didn't work is that no one actually clicked on those ads.

The Long Tail theory is showing again today ... don't ignore the little guys. They will determine the future of the internet, not the behemoths of industry.

Another top banner link exchange site throws it's hat in the ring.

www.125Exchange.com is a banner ad exchange service for blogs only. You can target specific category blogs or countries to exchange traffic with.

New users start off with 5,000 free banner ad impressions and thereafter the exchange rate is 2 for 3. It is a totally free service for bloggers and every blog should try it.
