I use both SPOTTT and Entrecard (125 business card that you drop on other sites to introduce yourself) and find that the reason why the original link exchange didn’t work is that no one actually clicked on those ads.

The Long Tail theory is showing again today … don’t ignore the little guys. They will determine the future of the internet, not the behemoths of industry.
