The problem with Yahoo! is that it has not been able to obtain the support of the internet public that Google has. The basic dilemma that Yahoo! faces is how to inject portions of the free open application model, into its current one. Yahoo! has to offer more tools for users if it is ever going to maintain a life giving user base. It seems as though that Yahoo! has just not made the commitment to its users that Google has to its base. Until that happens, Yahoo! will remain a risk and the street will continue to turn its back.
