		<description>Without a question, this is a big win for Google and open movement …and not the other way around as the other camp suggests.  An about-face does not seem like a first-mover strategy.  Last time I checked, most of Google entire infrastructure is quilted from free open source software.  I doubt the any of the U.S. wireless networks run entirely on FOSS.
